Decision
I still remember that I had some hesitation about whether to buy a domain or not a few months before I decided to do so. It started in November, just after my exams that I wanted to buy a unique .com domain for my website.

Looking for Web Host
And at that time, I was quite relucant to buy this domain because everywhere was selling quite expensive, perhaps more features than my current webhost but well, it costs like US$5 A month? It may not be expensive to you but for me, I have to consider various factors like visitors rate, the cost and reliability of web host(whether they will snatch all my money, resulting me to be left with nothing else) and also the plan.

Domain Name Decision
So, After I calculated all my finicial sum required for this "investment" which is the additional features and hosting this website which is like less than $2 a month , another problem came. Not finicial problem but it was the name of the website.
It is not a kid's play thing because if you want to alter the domain after quite some time, you have to pay a sum of money like $12 if i am not wrong! Why will I want to waste my money on this.. to change a domain name because I don't like it.

Therefore, I consulted my friends between sylistic and symaclistic but they all said , sylistic sounds better and sweeter.
I even got an advise from one of the staff whether I should choose either one. And they gave me the same reply.


So, Okay , SYLISTIC

PAYMENT
And now, the payment for the domain. It is quite a tough decision as the hosting company does not use paypal as its preferred payment but rather, Credit card payment. You can say that I am over-precauious in the sense that I do not trust others to give credit card number unnecessary unless travel agents that are well known and established . I will most likely prefer paypal because I can know if they are verified or not and check the details before I send my payment over.

So, I decided on paypal. Asked the support staff whether it is possible and they said YES. But I am hesitant to do so, because though it is just USD 71 ++ For 3 Years Domain which is seriously unbelievable with all the features and security but well, I still dont take the risk to just transfer the $71 just like that.
I checked on the background through forums and luckily, I actually get to know my hosting company through a main review website which I have advertised for them before. Okay, After the money is deposited to their company's paypal account, I was rather worried that perhaps, the money was not reached or what so ever like they will reject the promotion though I recieve the confirmation transaction from paypal. And all these happens on 12 April 2009 .

  Approval BUT yet.. WRONG domain name registered
So, I was approved of my domain on 13 April which the response was quite prompt but they gave me a domain as stylistic.com but I wanted sylistic! So, after some troubles which took me about 3 days? , I managed to register successfully under sylistic!:)

Learning STARTS.......
And all the tough problems started pouring in. RVSiteBuilder, File Manager seems unknown or alien to me as I have never used softwares like this before. I was like a dummy , as in the past, i was used to using HTML codes with blogger which I don't learn much. And it is not as easy as any other basic blogging sites.  
I struggled seriously, and started learning through tutorials and seeking help from my support staff. Though the responses are slow which I admit, they are quite helpful in the sense, they will help you through with all the steps if you need help and may also help you solve the problem manually at their side! Good right?

  PROBLEMS START...
But as usual, my hands are itchy ( I love to explore more things, falling down does not matter to me and I just want to learn more from these experiences!) and I started doing things that I do not know like redirecting, messing around with the codes and stuff! But I remembered there is one time when I mess up the site till I could not log in to my admin site and needs my support staff to help me. Together with a server connection failure on that day, It sums up to be 5 HOURS 40 MINUTES in total for my website to recover !

AGAIN.. ANOTHER PROBLEM!
And things get worst later on when I cause the site to be down for about 3 times a day which is alot and thanks to my support staff, they help me reboot the website again and again! I was like so pai seh because I pay just a few cents daily and they are doing so many things for me!

That was the worst time because I lost my advertorials posts and my other posts because there wasnt any backups for all those and I was so fedup that I decided to use wordpress for my hosting posts and yes, now it is wordpress with less hassle ! But I get to learn about PHP Script .  


Moving on to WP ... Yet.. Aother Problem!
After about 3 days with Wordpress, again, i mess up with my site that i change the web address and login in WP! This action is really disastorius and again, my support staff was there to help me reboot all again. And from that day onwards, I don't dare to edit anything before consulting my support staff!:)

  And more widgets like related stories, google news, search and more! Hope you like them! We also help companies do their beta testing on our websites which will appear in a week time or so!:)
That is really a longgggggg history of sylistic.com but well, I have so much to say which I wanted to say long time ago!:)
