Thanks to Julie & Julia, it has sparked my interest to reminisce when's the last time i turned on the gas stove!

Well,I always have this interest to cook when I am hungry or when my parents are out.I still remembered that I start learning how to cook noodles at the age of 10 and it was very terrible! I do not know how to cook all the other ingredients and what I did was to throw in all the ingredients at one time which resulted some to remain raw while others are over-cooked.

And guess what?
My kitchen was in the mess and I had much difficulty clearing up because the floor was oily and sticky while I used too many bowls to contain the crabsticks,vegetables,meat and fish! And luckily, I did not have stomachache after tasting my noodles but I had trouble finishing the noodles because I cooked too much and the taste was indeed very weird!

Of course, after many tries and experience, I can now successfully cook a bowl of edible tasty noodles for my family whenever I feel bored at home!

This movie is a comedy and set in a positive tone for food enthusiasts to start learning how to cook if you don't know how! And I am sure that you will be amazed and start your first dish, perhaps after watching the movie?

Synopsis :

The battle of the sexes heats up in Columbia Pictures comedy The Ugly Truth. Abby Richter (Katherine Heigl) is a romantically challenged morning show producer whose search for Mr. Perfect has left her hopelessly single. She’s in for a rude awakening when her bosses team her with Mike Chadway (Gerard Butler), a hardcore TV personality who promises to spill the ugly truth on what makes men and women tick.

REVEALING THE UGLY TRUTH NOW:

1. So, what do I think is the biggest turn-off (disgust) during a date ?

Of course, it first starts with his/her outlook as well as appearance. If she or he doesn't dress appropriately for the occasion which is of course, the date , it shows that he/she doesn't qualify to my standards. Besides,some men do not comprehend the simple fact, that women are free thinking creatures which in turn,MAN do not show respect to the women while some women will be irritated by the guy's untidy outlook or bad breath perhaps?

And of course, the guy should reward something that the woman loves but not what she hates ! Because this will be the worst date ever if the guy doesn't please the girl well so try to surprise her something great!:)

I still remember the recent hot news that this singaporean guy just stands there without retaliating and the woman doesn't even feel embarrassed to be hitting his boyfriend in public. So, the question is,

WHERE IS THE RESPECT?

Isn't this an UGLY TRUTH?!

Don't they have some RESPECT and FREEDOM of choice to the other party?!




2.Why do I want to watch “The Ugly Truth” or rather,
why YOU Should watch the "Ugly Truth" ?

Well, is it because .....


Katherine Heigel is SOOOOOOO SEXYYYYYYYY for GUYS TO DROOL ????!!!!!

OR

Gerard Butler is TOOOOOO HUNKYY for the gals to RESIST?!





My MAIN REASON is .......

I feel that this is a comical romance movie which is a MUST WATCH which allows viewers like us to have mixed feelings during different parts of the MOVIE . Besides, it has some pretty unbelievable facts like checking the background of others before a date !Most couples seldom do that as girls will expect surprises from the guy that they are meeting on their first date and depend on their first impression or judgement to determine the guy's fate!!

Well, FOR THE UGLY TRUTH ,
Gerard Butler actually comes off charming here which entertains viewers! His character is even relatively interesting, and most of the laughs in the movie are courtesy of him.

And for Heigl, she is an efficient professional who has no luck finding men which is kinda bad despite of her pretty look and appearance. Gerard told his female listeners on a late-night cable program called The Ugly Truth that "We fall in love with your tits and your ass. And we stick around for what you're gonna do with them." Desperate to get a man — any man but Gerard — she takes his advice on landing the hunky surgeon (Eric Winter) who's moved in across the way. Gerard will play a burly Cyrano to the doctor's winsome Roxane until Abby realizes that Mr. Wrong is right for her.



But for small kids out there, if you are under 16 years old, too bad.

You can't enjoy this awesome movie.

I guess You can only watch it till you are 16 years old!:)
